The most important step to make bins functional in multiple spaces is to assess how many items you have in a particular category. For example, in the bathroom cabinet, there were numerous larger items in each category, so we used large bins, but in the craft supplies cabinet there were items of various sizes and quantities, so we utilized various sized bins. Then, to customize the bins for your space, add labels.

So, how do you find products that will work in multiple spaces? You should look for products that are neutral in color, rectangular in shape, available in many sizes, and are affordable. Some areas in your home may require more bins than others, so to avoid spending a lot of money, affordable bins is a necessity.
